The outdoor grounds of Warwick Castle are now open.
Due to the UK Government’s current social distancing guidelines you must pre-book your visit to Warwick Castle.
When you purchase an Explorer Pass you will be sent a link that you can use to book a free ticket. Simply choose the date that you wish to visit and fill in your details. You will then need to present your pre-booked entry tickets AND your Explorer Passes at the admission point when you arrive at the castle.
Warwick Castle has worked hard to ensure that they are adhering to Government and public health guidance. They have been awarded Visit Britain’s ‘We’re Good To Go’ mark. Find out more about the measures they have put in place here.

Warwick Castle dates back to 914. The Medieval Fortress is one of the finest and most well-preserved castles in the UK. Enjoy the elegant 17th Century Great Hall and State Rooms, walk through the beautifully landscaped ‘Capability’ Brown gardens and climb to the top of the tower and ramparts for stunning views of the English countryside.
There is plenty to see and do at Warwick Castle including:
The Horrible Histories Maze – choose your path through time to unravel history! Face fun challenges: invade the vicious vikings, survive the trenches, uncover evil plots and escape the maze before things go horribly wrong!
The Time Tower – enter the Time Tower and witness the birth of the Castle, which once controlled the middle of England for over a thousand years.
The Princess Tower – once upon a time the brave Guy of Warwick went on a fearful quest to win the hand of the beautiful Felice. After falling foul of an evil sorcerer, it is now up to Felice to break the curse to free her sweetheart. Join the princess to help to solve the riddle which will reunite Guy and Felice to live happily ever after.
There is also the towers and ramparts that have been carefully restored, the Great Hall and staterooms, and 64 acres of rolling landscaped gardens to be explored too.
During the summer months a series of live re-enactments bring the castle to life.
The Explorer Pass allows daytime entry to the Castle and does not include any paid secondary attractions (such as the Castle Dungeon) or evening events.
