The Explorer Pass by Shakespeare’s England is available for either a 1, 2 or 3 day duration, for both adults and children (child pass 3 – 16 years). Children under 3 are free to enter all attractions.

Passes are valid as follows:

  • One day passes are valid for one calendar day during daylight opening hours, not 24 hours.
  • Two day passes are valid for two consecutive days, and three day passes are valid for three consecutive days.
  • The pass will expire at midnight on the last day of its duration.
  • Validity is limited to 1 year (365 days) from purchase date.


To access your pass, follow the link in the sales confirmation email you receive. If you have purchased more than one pass, they will all be accessible via the same link. Here you will be able to select the date that you would like to start using your pass and activate it. You will need to activate your pass before you can use it.

To gain free admission, simply show your pass QR code at the admission desk or payment point for each attraction.

Most of the attractions will allow you to walk in on the day, but some need to be booked in advance. Make sure you check our booking app before travelling to see which attractions require pre-booking and for instructions on how to book.

Passes permit one visit per attraction and do not permit same day re-entry.

Passes are not fast track passes.

Passes are non-transferable.

We strongly recommend you check opening times before visiting attractions, particularly in winter months when opening hours are reduced.

The Explorer Pass by Shakespeare’s England does not take responsibility for any attraction closures.

Child passes are suitable for children aged 3 – 16 years inclusive.

Please note some of the attractions included have free entry for children under 16 years, and most are free to children under 5.

We recommend that you check individual attraction entry prices on the attraction pages before purchasing a child pass to make sure it is right for you.
