Stratford Town Walk

The Stratford Town Walk is a lively and informative guided walking tour of Stratford-upon-Avon. Running every day of the year (even Christmas Day!), the multi award-winning tour is suitable for all and a fantastic way to make the most of your time in Stratford-upon-Avon.

The tour covers the town’s history, attractions, and, of course, William Shakespeare. Highlights include the houses connected to Shakespeare (The Birthplace, New Place and Hall’s Croft ), Harvard House, Holy Trinity Church, and Shakespeare’s Schoolroom and Guildhall. Along the way you’ll hear fascinating stories and anecdotes from medieval times that really will bring the history of Stratford-upon-Avon to life!

The tours start by a lamppost close to the Swan Fountain on Waterside, 200 yards in front of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and opposite Sheep Street. Look out for a guide wearing something yellow!

Tours last approximately 2 hours and are wheelchair friendly. Dogs are welcome too.
